entry into cyberspace...is it scary out there?

I am sitting here in my cold office at 8234 feet above sea level on a subzero afternoon. Will it ever be summer again? We were cheated this last summer because we just did not even get one. Sure it was sunny. It is almost always sunny in lovely blue skied Colorado. Now it is snowing and the wind will soon begin to blow. Here, wind is a 4 letter word not to be spoken.

As I make my feeble attempt to enter into cyberspace I cannot help but be afraid. Privacy is such a sought after state of mind where I live, and yet here I begin to put my foot into the waters of the unknown or unknowing. It is scary, but I shall try to do my best to impart my mindful wanderings of the state of my being on any given day. My main reason for this particular blog is to impart a different way of looking at the world. One that goes back to my youth.

We thought when we were young we could change the world, and we did in a way. We stopped the war in Viet Nam through protests, and we helped usher in a new and more visual and visceral way of experiencing it. Now cannabis is all but legal in Colorado via the medical marijuana amendment. Who would have ever thought it would happen in my lifetime? Mind expansion is a good thing! Just as change is good. So here goes a big change for me once again.

Thanks for checking in. I will be back as soon as I figure out how to do all of this "blog stuff"!
